Does SearchLens write anything to my client's Google Search Console?

No. SearchLens uses read-only OAuth access. It can only read data — it cannot make any changes to your client's GSC account.

What does "AI Overview pattern detected" actually mean?

SearchLens identifies keywords whose click-through rates have dropped significantly while rankings and impressions remain stable. This is the statistical pattern most commonly associated with Google AI Overview presence. It is a strong signal, not a guarantee — we recommend manually checking flagged keywords in Google Search to confirm.

Is the data in SearchLens reports accurate?

All data comes directly from Google Search Console via their official API. SearchLens applies a 3-day lag buffer to ensure only fully processed data is included — GSC data can take 2–3 days to finalize after the actual search events occur.

Can my client see the report without a SearchLens account?

Yes. Solo and Growth plan reports generate a permanent public portal link. Your client can open it in any browser with no login required. Free plan reports are private to your account.

What happens if I regenerate a report?
